Reflector
seeks
audience
to reconnect
to the
nature
and to
refresh
of their
minds.
It was
site specific
installation
where
each view
from certain
direction
has significant
symbolism.
Audience
was asked
to do
walking
mediation,
and then
perform
self purification
ceremony.
All materials
were natural
materials
founded
from the
location.
Participants
were asking
to bow
4 directions
which
symbolize
to show
the respect
and be
thankful
to themselves
in past,
present,
future,
and to
other
who helped
them.
At the
end, they
sprinkle
the mixture
of milk
and honey
drops
which
are symbol
of body
and soul
to each
direction
and for
themselves.
This part
symbolizes
the self-purification.
People
who participated
on this
piece
commonly
describe
that they
felt warm
and light
after
following
the instruction.
